We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead a Sydney-based sales team within a fast-paced financial services environment. The role focuses on driving revenue growth across FX, CFDs, and share trading products, while expanding market share and strengthening the company’s presence in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead and develop the sales team to consistently achieve ambitious revenue targets and KPIs. A major part of the role involves growing the business through new client acquisition and expanding relationships with introducing brokers (IBs), affiliates, and key partners.
You will be responsible for building strong, long-term client relationships, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
The role:
Includes overseeing key client accounts and providing non-advisory support such as trade execution assistance, margin monitoring, and general account support.
In addition, you will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals
- Track performance, forecasting, and revenue reporting for senior leadership
- Coach and develop the sales team to improve performance and capability
- Work closely with Marketing and Technology teams to improve acquisition and retention
- Support IB and affiliate networks with tools, insights, and relationship management
- Represent the company at events, meetings, and industry engagements
- Build a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative team culture
You have strong experience in sales or business development within FX, CFDs, share trading, or the broader financial services sector. You have a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets, and you are confident in managing both teams and partner networks. You are capable of bringing and growing a healthy client portfolio, actively nurturing your own book of business while also leading and supporting a team.
You are commercially focused, strategic, and highly execution-driven, with strong leadership and communication skills. A solid understanding of financial markets and regulatory environments is essential.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- RG146 certification (Securities, Derivatives, and FX)
- Experience in financial services sales leadership
- Willingness to travel when required
- Multilingual ability is an advantage
- Mandarin Speaking
