This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, proactive mortgage professional who enjoys solving problems, managing a busy pipeline and getting deals across the line. If you can speak Mandarin/Cantonese or Korean would be a bonus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mortgage applications from submission through to settlement
- Prepare and review loan applications and supporting documentation
- Liaise with lenders, BDMs, credit teams and settlement parties
- Manage lender conditions, queries and outstanding requirements
- Keep clients and brokers updated throughout the process
- Identify and resolve potential issues early
- Mentor, support & lead a small team of 4 admin/processors
- Assist with complex lending scenarios and support the wider team
- Maintain accurate, compliant and confidential loan files
- 5+ years' experience in mortgage processing, lending or mortgage broking
- Strong knowledge of residential lending and the application-to-settlement process
- Experience working with multiple lenders and lender policies
- Strong understanding of servicing, income verification, credit and property documentation
- Previous experience supporting and mentoring junior team
- Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and competing priorities
- Proactive, solutions-focused and accountable
