Why is this the role for me?
As a Client Service and Onboarding Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting the onboarding and client renewal processes for corporate, trust, SMSF, and institutional clients. Based in Sydney, you’ll work closely with colleagues overseas to ensure high standards of regulatory compliance, client service, and process efficiency.
What will my day to day look like?
You will:
- Manage onboarding for corporate, institutional, trust and SMSF clients
- Conduct ongoing due diligence and act as the local KYC/AML subject matter expert
- Stay across changing regulatory and internal compliance standards
- Act as a key liaison between Sydney and global teams to align local practices with group-wide requirements
- Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure onboarding is smooth and client expectations are met
- Provide feedback and recommendations for process and policy improvement
- Monitor and report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of onboarding activities
- Coordinate client renewals with the global team, ensuring a seamless experience
You have experience in onboarding across at least two client segments (direct, corporate and/or institutional) and have proven experience in onboarding, KYC, CDD, or client due diligence.
About You
- Tertiary qualification required
- Exposure to capital markets or financial products is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within structured processes and adhere to compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
