Key Responsibilities:
As the Finance & Administration Manager, you will:
- Oversee the firm's day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cashflow and payroll coordination.
- Manage legal billing, WIP, debtor management and trust accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely collections.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including cashflow, management accounts and business performance reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning while liaising with external accountants and bookkeeping providers.
- Lead the administration, reception and office support teams, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Coordinate office operations, suppliers, IT providers, onboarding, compliance obligations and internal procedures.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in legal finance, practice management or a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal billing, trust accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience managing office administration and leading support teams.
- Confidence implementing systems, improving processes and driving accountability.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- MUST have Full Working rights in Australia
