So far, so good but now you’re thinking, what would it feel like to actually work there? Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through it: 

What will my day to day look like?

Here, you will take inbound calls and assist clients with queries relating to the in-house stockbroking platform (essentially a website/app which lets people manage their stocks/share trading). This could be helping them get logged in/set up on the system, troubleshooting technical issues, or giving them information about their account.

You may also:
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling of company products & services
  • Record client information in relevant internal systems
  • Process applications, payments, and transfers for Investment related products
  • Provide administrative support to other business units
What about my hours?

The hours are full time (40 hour week) and you will be based in the office in Chatswood.

Shifts will last 8.5 hours and start times will range from the earliest start at 7.30am to the latest finish being 8.30pm. Breaks will be 30 mins.

The shifts will rotate every 2 weeks, but the managers move people around the later time slot – to keep things fair. Also… (Dollar sign emoji) when working the later shift, you will receive a 1-hour lunch break and 20% loading. Nice!

You will be paid monthly in this role.
Ok, you’ve convinced me, this is not your typical customer service role – what do the company want from me? 

This role does not require Finance experience! You just need to love Customer Service you are passionate about learning. You have an interest in Finance with excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
The team are fun-loving and enjoy what they do – they want a positive, hard-working colleague who they can rely on and in turn, you can rely on them.

It is also a benefit if you can speak fluent Mandarin and/or Cantonese!
