What will my day to day look like?

As an experienced Accounts Operations Manager, you will assist in co-managing the Operations Accounts team and be responsible for workload management, training staff, improving processes, reporting and contribute to delivering a culture of excellence across the team.

You will:

> Monitor daily operations, ensuring all Know Your Customer (KYC) processes are executed accurately and efficiently across the customer support operations team.

> Address any operational issues promptly to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day activities.

> Efficiently distribute and manage workloads across the Operations Support team to ensure optimal productivity and balance

> Prioritise tasks and projects based on urgency and importance, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising

> Train new staff members effectively, providing comprehensive onboarding to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.

> Develop and implement ongoing training programs for existing staff to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's success.

> Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional growth and improve performance.

> Identify, analyse, and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

> Monitor abnormal cases and escalate significant issues to managers for timely resolution.

> Encourage the team to contribute ideas for process improvements and facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions.

> Increase communication between departments to streamline and optimise current business processes.

> Act as a liaison between teams to ensure alignment and understanding of shared goals and responsibilities.

> Establish and maintain a feedback loop to continuously gather input from various departments and incorporate it into process improvements.

> Ensure all requested monthly reports are accurately compiled and delivered on time to relevant stakeholders.

> Analyze report data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

> Ensure all reporting complies with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

> Measure and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Support Accounts Team, using data to drive performance.

> Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear objectives and targets for the team.

What skills/experience will I need?

You have at least 1-2 years of people leadership experience within Financial Services, with an excellent eye for detail, strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance in a fast paced environment.

You also have:
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a support or financial services environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Familiarity with KYC processes and financial reporting tools is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
